The Sirgenstein Cave is closed to visitors for the duration of the work due to urgent conservation efforts being carried out by the State Office for Cultural Heritage to protect this cultural monument. Updates will be posted here.

The next excavation campaign in the cave is expected to take place in the fall of 2026.
